Ok so I have seen the x-files: I want to believe twice, and may I say that it was amazing both times. After watching the movie I went online and checked some of the critics reviews, I was disgusted by the grades they gave the movie. The one review that made my tea pot boil over was from E! Online. They said something along the lines of that Chris Carter made us wait 6 years and that all he came up with was some love story. Ok now if these critics were hardcore x-files fans like myself and so many others then they would have understood the romance part of the movie as well as have picked up on some of the old dialog from the series. I think that Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz did an amazing job with the story and the dialog. I felt that it gave us hardcore fans what we've been anxiously awaiting, to see Mulder and Scully finally together and to see them still fighting to find the truth. Whether it be in the alien conspiracy and black oil or the truth they both have been to blind to see, that they love and need each other. I hope that the x files team will keep teaming up and create more movies in the future (hopefully near future) regardless of what the critics might say.
